Sister city - KIRYAT EKRON

The town of Kiryat Ekron is in central Israel, between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the east, Lod to the north, and Ashdod to the south.

Since 1961, the community has welcomed successive waves of immigration from Bulgaria, Yemen, North Africa, Russia, and Ethiopia, creating a very diversified and rich culture.

The population of Kiryat Ekron has doubled in three years, and its industrial and commercial activities have been rapidly expanding.
